Dressing Cute and Comfortable During Pregnancy

DRESSING CUTE AND COMFORTABLE DURING PREGNANCY

Swollen ankles, stretchy skin, and achy joints are some of the discomforts I experienced during pregnancy. I quickly realized that I needed to modify my wardrobe if I wanted to transition into my new body comfortably. I’m sharing items that’ll guide you in dressing cute and comfortable during pregnancy.

Belly Bands

Belly Bands were my best friend during the first trimester. They allow you to sport your favorite jeans a little longer while providing the belly support that you need. They also serve as a smoothing factor and can help conceal your pregnancy if you’re not quite ready to share.

Maternity clothes

Purchasing maternity clothes sounds like a no-brainer, but I battled with the idea of spending money on temporary garments. As your body grows, you should transition into a wardrobe that supports your ever-changing figure. Unlike regular clothes, maternity clothes stretch and adapt as your body changes. I purchased my favorite maternity pieces from Maternity Motherhood, ASOS, and Target.

Unmentionables

Undergarments are your second skin and should change as your body changes. Investing in comfortable undergarments is the best thing you can do for your growing bump. Not only does this eliminate uncomfortable digging, but it also makes your top layer clothes lay better.

FLATS

As an avid heel wearer, it was challenging to make the switch to daily flats, but soon I was begging for them. Investing in a good pair of flats is perfect for relieving the foot and ankle pain that accompanies the inevitable weight gain.

These are the things I purchased to dress cute and comfortable during pregnancy. What are some “must-have” items that you bought?
