Baby Items We use Everyday

Setting up my baby registry was the most overwhelming task of my entire pregnancy. As a first-time mom, I didn’t know all of the baby essentials and was utterly unaware of individual items’ longevity *points to bassinet*. In hopes of helping expecting moms, I’m sharing ten baby items I use every day.

Feeding Time

This 3-in-1 High Chair has been marvelous. It’s sleek, comfortable, and easy to clean after feedings. As he grows, we can separate the unit into a Booster seat and Toddler chair.

I’ve bottle-fed Grayson since he was born and have always used Dr. Brown’s bottles. They are best known for helping reduce instances of colic, spit-ups, and gas. They also preserve vitamins C, A, and E from mom’s breast milk! I’ve already purchased the sippy cup to help with his transition from bottles.

After a week of boiling endless bottles, I searched for an easy-to-use bottle sterilizer. This simple system allows us to sterilize all of Grayon’s bottle accessories in the microwave. After I handwash the bottles, we pop them in the microwave for a few minutes. I also throw his pacifiers and my pump parts in there from time to time.

Play Time

If you follow me on Instagram, then you’re very familiar with this walker. Grayson plays with all of the cadoodles on the top and loves smashing the button to hear nursery rhyme tunes.

This playmat is our most recent purchase but the most used item to date! Grayson is always pulling up on the couches and giving us a heart attack. To ease our worries, we purchased this large foam mat to help soften his falls.

Bath Time

The bathtub that we use allows us to bathe Grayson in two positions safely. We used the laying down space for the first few months but have advanced to the sitting position. Grayson enjoys sitting up and splashing! We also use this kneeling pad that provides a cushion to our knees when we’re bending over our bathtub.

Changing Time

This Playard has been a lifesaver since day one. When Grayson was a newborn, we would lay him in the bassinet during his daytime naps. We have since removed the bassinet portion but use the changing table for every diaper change. We are planning to remove that section this weekend to help contain our busy body inside the playpen!

We keep our diaper pail next to the changing station to help contain all of the stinky diapers! It’s has a foot pedal for easy access and holds up to 45 diapers.
