This two-piece set has officially become my mom uniform, and my LV Neverfull is officially a baby bag. I was looking for my wallet the other day and instead found a sock.
Motherhood is a trip. Every day I wake up to this tiny person staring at me with such hope and expectation. He has no clue that I’m winging it.
I spend half of my time calling my mom for answers and the other half googling things like “how many poops should my baby have in a day?” A million thoughts race through my mind each day, so I thought I’d share with you my top 8.
- Breastfeeding is a full-time job. And I deserve a raise.
- Grace is required. You can’t do everything as quickly, efficiently, or as frequently as you may like, but it’ll get done…eventually.
- My husband is the best. This man took on the full load when I could barely move. And somehow still mustered the words “you’re beautiful” as he witnessed me walking around HUNCHED over in an adult diaper.
- *Googles* How much sleep do you really need to survive?
- No really. Is there compensation for breastfeeding?
- My mom is a beast. How did she manage to work a full-time job, raise four children, and cook dinner every day?
- I will wash those clothes. Tomorrow.
- *Googles* How much is a live-in nanny?
i’m just here for the clothes
